20 years ago databases used for attendances would have been seen as magic, being able to click the mouse Three times and get who should be in that class would have been magic.
Databases holds tons of information, and you can preform queries to see what you want to see, example when you log onto facebook you are asking facebook to show you everything in the world that has your friends number init or your number in it.
